To start your Woovebox with Bluetooth® LE enabled in compatibility mode, keep the 2/bS key pressed while switching on the device. The display reads 'boot bLE' instead of the usual boot up sequence.
Compatibility mode works around some severe historic bugs in some Android and iOS phones by permitting looser timings and avoiding extended advertising packets. For example, your Woovebox will advertise itself as "WB" rather than a longer name with unique identifier, just to keep the advertising packet small enough to fit in a single packet.
