Public address
You can specify your public address here. It's the address where people can visit you, find your office, where they can send mail, etc.
If you do not want or need a public address, simply leave the fields on appearance and machine-friendly blank.
Under appearance, you can specify - on multiple lines - the full extent of physical your address. You can specify free-form text here. If you wish, you can include anything that may be useful, such as ("On the corner of El Camino and Cedar Street").
The machine-friendly address is a single-line address that works in, for example, Google Maps. If you are unsure whether your address works in Google Maps, simply test it out. Once Google Maps can find you address, simply copy that address into the field under settings > about > public address > machine-friendly.
