I have had the pleasure of doing trauma sensitive yoga with Clare for the past few years. I've never had such a gentle, genuine and restorative experience as when being led by Clare. I've found the trauma sensitive yoga classes complimentary to the therapy I receive. I'd recommend Clare and could not speak any more highly of her.catherine
Yoga with Clare is the calm in my week. I always feel nourished and relaxed afterwards and I can feel that it’s good for me.sally
Clare has been invaluable, over three years of TCTSY sessions, in assisting my ongoing recovery from severe and chronic trauma. My dissociation has reduced noticeably, and I’m gradually getting to know how it feels to exist in my own physical body. That would not have been possible without the steady, gentle presence Clare brings to the room, nor without her evident training and awareness. I’m very grateful.lea
I am loving that my flexibility has improved, especially as I edge into ‘middle age’ - this has been a gradual process over the past year. Clare is conscious of each participant and their specific needs, providing different options that ensures class inclusion. I always have a sense of calm once completing Clare’s class.brenda
I've been attending [trauma sensitive] yoga classes with Clare for a few years now. She is always extremely welcoming, gentle and empathetic, and makes you feel immediately comfortable in the practice space. I always leave Clare's classes feeling more in-tune with my body and more present in the here and now.Audrey
I have done more than 2 terms of restorative yoga with Clare and I don't think I could recommend her highly enough. I have struggled with some injuries and also PTSD and have always felt cared for and supported by Clare both mentally and physically. Her yoga classes certainly improved my movement and strength without pushing me too far.Shirley
Clare introduced me to yoga practice after I sought out a solution to a growing concern that my body was not so balanced in an active lifestyle. Iyengar yoga is a wonderful way to learn and ease your body and mind into yoga and I recommend it to my family and friends- My mum now comes along. After 2 years I still find it challenging but I am very satisfied and appreciative with the balance Yarra Ranges Yoga has given me.Eric
Having joined the Yarra Ranges Yoga at a particularly special but vulnerable time physically, I feel like the practice has been an integral part of my pregnancy so far. I have felt entirely supported throughout the process and, with Clare's teaching, my yoga practice has helped me understand and come to terms with the evolving requirements of my body and mind throughout my first, and entering my second trimester.Amy
I would definitely recommend to join Clare's Yoga class because of the atmosphere and experience you get there every time you attend. At the end of the class you feel like you have accomplished something. No two classes are the same, there is always something new to try. Clare has a very professional attitude, she is always very well prepared and provides a nice environment for every class.Veronika
When I moved there I was looking to take up yoga or something similar. I had tried starting yoga before, but for some reason I had never stuck with it or gone beyond a few classes. It is clear that yoga is her lifelong passion. She hasn't just jumped on any recent yoga-fads, but has had a lifelong journey with this practice. She also has the gift of presenting classes that cater for all needs and all levels of ‘connection’ with yoga. I can not recommend Clare highly enough.Marcella, Ireland
I have been a student of yoga for 18 years and have been a student of Clare's for the past 2 years. I am so grateful to have found Yarra Ranges Yoga as Clare teaches yoga not from just a physical pose perspective but also incorporates yoga's spiritual meaning with self connecting the mind to our bodies. Clare also provides a monthly restorative yoga class which I cannot live without!! Thanks Clare - gratitude & blessings.Beck
I LOVE your class! Your yoga has changed the way I react/ respond and think about my life. Yes, my body has faithfully kept score.... I enjoy your class because of the way you teach. Your gentle guidance and correction of an asana, your attention to detail in setting up the asana, and your wise words throughout the night are eagerly gobbled up by my mind and body! I am honestly and deeply grateful that I have met you and experienced your way of teaching yoga.Daniela
I've been attending Yarra Ranges Yoga for over 7 years. Clare provides a small class environment and is very supportive of everyone's yoga skill level and needs. I really appreciate her guidance and genuine enthusiasm to teach. I always look forward to my weekly class and an opportunity to continue to learn.John
I was recommended to start practicing yoga for my chronic back problems. And it is now approaching 3 years since I started at Yarra Ranges Yoga. Clare is genuine and passionate about her yoga practice. She has taught me more than I could have ever imagined about what yoga is all about. My yoga practice has not only aided my physical needs, but I could not imagine my life without it. Thank you Clare, for being brilliant.Naomi
Kind and compassionate teaching equal progressive learning. I cannot recommend Clare more highly, she assists me to work with my lot to ensure ongoing improvement in my practise for increased health and well being. Thank you Clare.Carole
