Facebook business/fan page
Depending on your line of business, a Facebook business or fan page can help you engage with a very big audience. For some purposes and audiences, it may surpass an AÍFE website in terms of eyeballs looking at your content.
To effectively capitalize on your Facebook audience, your page will require monitoring and frequent interaction. Please be aware that in some countries and jurisdictions, you carry responsibility for your visitors' comments.
By adding Facebook page tabs to your Facebook page, you automatically provide your Facebook audience with all the same content and functionality of your AÍFE website. Using Facebook in this way can be a very powerful conduit. With AÍFE footprints being platform agnostic, it is entirely possible to make Facebook the focus of engaging with your audience, rather than your website. To AÍFE there is no difference.
To add a Facebook business or fan page to your footprint, do the following;
- If you do not yet have a Facebook business or fan page, you can create one by clicking on create new page under get started.
- Once you have created your Facebook page, simply copy and paste its URL into the field under settings > presence > social media > facebook > page > url.
- Hit publish to make your new setting live.
- The FMS will now reboot and your Facebook page will now be promoted across your entire footprint.
- The FMS will ask for authorization to publish buzz content to your Facebook page.
- Once authorized and back in the FMS, you are now able to broadcast buzz posts to your Facebook page.
- A new footprint recommendation for Facebook page tabs may appear (please note that due to a recent API change by Facebook, a page will require 2000 likes before Facebook allows you to use page tabs on your page).
- Please remember to re-generate your email signature, as it will now include a new social medium.
Facebook feed updates will automatically take advantage of the automatic social media graphic designer. Every buzz post or shared website item will come with an eye-catching Facebook-specific graphic.
